  94. ===== Installation =====================================

  96. Public Library needs about 275 Kb of available disk space, and it can be
  97. run from a floppy disk or a hard drive.
  98.  
  99. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  100. Public Library.

  102. To install from a floppy disk, perform the following steps:
  103.  
  104.    o  Place the distribution disk in floppy drive A: or B:.
  105.  
  106.    o  If you put the distribution disk is in drive A:, type:
  107.  
  108.                              a:install
  109.  
  110.       If you put the disk in drive B:, type
  111.  
  112.                              b:install
  113.  
  114.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  115.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  116.       are actually made to your hard drive.  Install asks you for a
  117.       drive (and a directory if it's a hard drive), and then copies the
  118.       files to that drive/directory.

  120.    o  Install will make no changes to your system files.

  123. BBS Downloads:

  125.    o  If you received Public Library as a download from a BBS, you will
  126.       have to expand its ZIP file.  To do so, simply create a new
  127.       directory by first going to your root directory

  135.    o  Then change to the new directory by typing
